The Women's Comedy Brigade is the brainchild of comedian Jennifer Dziura. She got the idea for the name while in the Middle East and Africa in 2007 on a three-week tour entertaining the troops. Jennifer is perhaps best known for orchestrating the Williamsburg Spelling Bee, a real spelling bee for adults, as featured in the New York Times and in international press from German Public Radio to Tokyo Shimbun. Jennifer was filmed as an expert on "how to be witty" for VH-1's reality dating show "Can't Get a Date," has written for McSweeney's, appeared on the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom radio show, and is a contributor to The Idiot's Guide to Jokes and many other books. A Dartmouth graduate, Jennifer recently completed an East Coast tour of her solo show, "What Philosophy Majors Do After College" including sold-out shows in D.C. and Norfolk, and a show in April, 2008 at Dartmouth College. She writes a blog at www.jenisfamous.com
Comic Abbi Crutchfield keeps her plate full in New York City with writing, performing stand-up, improvisational comedy, creating sketches, starring and directing in short films and producing a live comedy hour called The Living Room.  Carolyn Castiglia is a NYC comedian whose work has been seen and heard nationally on VH1, BestWeekEver.tv, MTV2, MTVU, Nick-at-Nite, ABC World News with Charles Gibson and Sirius Satellite Radio. As rap star "Miss CKC," she's been seen on MTV's "White Rapper Show" and VH-1's "Miss Rap Supreme." Carolyn is the co-producer and full-time host of the weekly showcase Chicks and Giggles (featured in the New Yorker, New York Times and BUST Magazine) and the MC of the monthly variety show Poetry vs. Comedy. Blogging is an almost full-time passion for Carolyn; her humor blog has been recommended by Gawker several times and her baby blog, Adriana's Mom, is a favorite of the editorial staff at Redbook. Carolyn shows that having a kid doesn't keep you from living the dream -- and rapping about it.
